On behalf of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University Medical Center Groningen, it is my pleasure to invite you to participate at our Proton Therapy Symposium, to be held at the University Medical Center Groningen, the Netherlands on 6-7 June 2018. The symposium marks the opening of the Groningen Proton Therapy Center.

The scientific program will consist of lectures from top international experts and members of our team. The symposium aims to summarize what is scientifically known, learn about cutting edge research and share our strategy to bridge the gap between the clinical requirements and the current state of proton technology.
