De deelnemer heeft kennis van de opzet van Acute Zorg en GGZ in Engeland.
Daar is een nieuw systeem. Daarnaast uitwisseling over GGZ en acute zorg
De deelnemer zal zelf praktijksituatie schetsen.

Aims of the study tour are:

• Shared learning between healthcare systems in the Netherlands and North East England , UK
• Focus on understanding of integrated health and social care and the primary and secondary care interface between hospital settings and general practice.
• Understand major recent changes undertaken in the hospital system including the new state of the art Emergency Care Centre and other integrated service developments
• Understand integrated partnership working between mental health providers and the commissioners of mental health services
• Greater understanding of issues of funding, patient safety, patient information and personal responsibility for health
